Last week we discussed the don’ts of Facebook marketing. Don’t over post, don’t be inauthentic, don’t be too pushy in your sales. By following those guidelines your business page can survive. But we don’t want you to just survive, we want your business to THRIVE! We put together a list of things that you can do to get your Facebook marketing campaign up to par.
- Post fun stuff. Bring out the personality of your company, your employees, and just invite your followers into your personality. A good rule to remember is post more fun stuff than pushing your products and services.
- Shine your customer service skills by responding to your customer’s posts and comments as quickly as possible. Experts say within an hour is the best. Don’t leave your customer waiting.
- Keep it short and simple. Twitter has 140 characters for a reason. We say to keep your posts short and sweet. Kissmetrics offers this insight, “Posts with less than 80 characters received 66% more engagement.”
- Cultivate your followers the right way. Have you employees like the company page and interact, ask your customers to like and interact and from there you can build yourself an authentic following (and business)!
- Ask a question. The more you ask questions to your audience, the higher chance of success for your social media marketing.
- Relevant and interesting topics are the key to engagement. Boring posts are a dime a dozen and get passed up.
- Post no more than 1-2 a day up or 1-4 times a week. By following this calendar you will keep your business in plain view without bombarding your follower’s newsfeeds.
